Unofficial in-person early voting turnout by county and party, and mail-in ballots requested, received and accepted by county, from the Board's daily press-room reports. Updated Oct 28; retrieved Oct 30, 2:02 AM ET.
Our last update failed, so this is the previous report.
- In-person early voting ran 10/22 to 10/29. In-person counts are through Day 7 (10/28); Day 8 was not yet reported. Mail-in figures are as of October 28, 2026, 6 PM.
- Party figures cover in-person early voting only and are voters' registered party, not how anyone voted. Other combines Green, Working Class Party and other registrations; U is unaffiliated.
- Mail ballots returned means received by local boards, counting all categories (domestic civilian, overseas civilian, military). Mail ballots requested is from the Board's separate mail-in request report and may include ballots not yet sent.
- Total voted early is in-person early votes plus mail ballots received. The Board's in-person count excludes provisional and absentee voters.
- Mail ballots accepted: Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Garrett, Kent, Somerset report 0 accepted and are left blank for those counties, so the statewide accepted figure (151,734) is a partial count.
