Colorado Secretary of State, daily ballot returns
Ballots returned to county clerks (mail plus in person), from the Secretary of State's daily county workbook. Each release covers data through 11:59 PM the previous day (Mountain time). Updated Oct 28; retrieved Oct 30, 1:34 PM ET.
- Colorado mails a ballot to every active voter, so there is no mail-requested count. The state does not publish an accepted count; returned ballots are those received by county clerks.
- Each release covers data through 11:59 PM the day before the release date, so the as-of time is the previous night.
- Party figures are the registered party of the voters whose ballots have been returned, not how anyone voted. Colorado lists unaffiliated (U), Libertarian (LIB) and Green (GRN) separately; O combines the American Constitution, Approval Voting, Colorado Center, Forward, No Labels and Unity parties.
- The 2022 comparison uses the Secretary of State's own file for the same number of days before Election Day (7).
